Ok, I promise, from now onwards, I'll update at least once a week. (I mean, I will TRY TO update more often...my promise is subject to change base on circumstances~)
Went to dinner at a Malaysian/Chinese Restaurant called Jade Kingdom with ed and mindy~The food was much more better than I expected - the curry laksa tasted like curry laksa (without any spicyness =.=), Har mee tasted like har mee (with kangkong somemore!), and crispy duck(note that this is not a malaysian dish) was good as well, the meat was tender and the skin was crispy. My only complaint was the entree - Lobak...They served the entree after they served up the curry laksa and har mee =.= Apa tu entree? It should be served before the main course la... Ok, fine. The lobak was served with acha (neh the pickle), which totally fail! I didn't expect it to be as good as 外婆's, but at least it should be "crunchy" no? Haih...and the lobak wasn't very nice also, so I only had 1 (super thick) slice. Overall, the food was good and the price was reasonable - ~$15 for each of us.
The Har Mee - with char siew, kangkong, hard boiled egg, prawns and topped with fried onion.
Curry Laksa with yong tau fu and friends (e.g. stuffed egg plant, stuffed fried beancurd, fried lady's finger etc) and lots of bean sprout. Oh, the noodles was a bit overcooked (for me).
The crispy duck. The most expensive dish. The meat was very tender, juicy and flavoursome, very nice.
