Dookie day 4 & 5

Day 4:

Visited the Brown Brothers winery, located at Milawa.
Pretty scenery isn't it? ^^

The large tank is the tank they used to age the fortified wines.
Oak barrels to age red and white wines. Impressive!

We had the last wine tasting session here~Tasted some great wines~I dunno was it because this was the last wine tasting session, so I was more relax, or because the owner was generous enough to take out his expensive wines (when I refered to the price list, some were above $40), the wines taste really good.

Sorry, I'm not that keen to post the brown brothers winery photos...I'm more interested in foods! I wasn't feeling quite well that day ma, so I bought a vegetarian roll (yes, vegetarian, only have carrot, rockett, tomato, onion and some margarin). Guess how much it costs? $5.50! The most expensive lunch I had in Dookie, for those carrot and tomato...

AHHHHHH!!!! Everyone agrees that this is the best dinner we had in Dookie!! Main dishes: lamb, fish fillet or porterhouse steak. I just can't let go the lamb, so my friend and I decided, I would order the lamb and she would order the fish fillet so we could exchange, then we'll get the steak for second round~(because it was our last dinner in Dookie, we wanted to eat as much as possible). The lamb was delicious, but the flavour was quite heavy - it was so heavy that I couldn't taste the gravy, lol. Since this was quite heavy, and the fish fillet was really large, my friend and I was too full for the steak T.T So didn't get to try the steak...Anyway, side dishes were baked pumpkin and again potato with cheese~ohoh~~Unluckily, the baked pumpkin that I always love became the least delicious food for the dinner....Because, even the vege was yummy - zucchini. But note, it wasn't ordinary zucchini, it was zucchini with stuffings! The stuffings were similar to those in the Coles BBQ chicken~And the zucchini was just nice, not overcooked to become too soft. One word - Delicious.

There were two desserts: first one is this, cinnamon roll. Oh do you know what is the yellow cream on top? It was my beloved custard cream! OHHHHHH~~~~~~Actually, I stole this from my friend, because she was too full for dessert =p I love cinnamon, and I love custard cream. One word: HEAVEN~

The second dessert - apple puff (well it looks like a puff to me~). I took this by myself, so I chose the one with lots of custard cream, so you can't see the "real face" of the pastry. My beloved pastry + my beloved custard cream -- two words: ABOVE HEAVEN! I actually intended to get another serve after I finished this one, but my mind told me that having 2 serves of dessert is already too much. And my friends had already finish and were waiting for me. So....I just bid my farewell to the lovely desserts and went back to STUDY.....err, did I tell you that I only slept for 2 hours that day?

Day 5:

As this was the last day in Dookie, and I was going to have 2 exams, I ate as much as I could for the breakfast. I had a large bowl of cereals + a slice of bread + coffee. And, stole 2 slices of bread for my lunch~^^

Again, please bear with my chubby face. Just wanted to show that my face became red again after the wine tasting exam~

After the first exam, we had a lunch break. I had my breads stolen in the morning, and expresso. When I tried the expresso, my first reaction was: oh no, I can't decide which one is the worst beverage I had ever had in my life - the fortified wine or the expresso? Yes, it tastes really HORRIBLE.

Going home after the exam~Managed to take some photo before leaving

Someone was creative and free enough to arrange the buckets (we use the buckets to spit the wine) like this~lol~^^

Goodbye, dining hall. I'll miss your foods.

On the way to car park, I thought this botak tree looks cool~

Bah bah white sheeps in Dookie campus.

Can you see the rainbow?! Saw it when we almost reached Melbourne~^^

And some photos of the countryside:
